High West 70cl/46%/92 Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey Utah’s High West distillery was founded in 2007, but throughout their history they have been blenders as well as distillers, sourcing high quality bourbon and rye whiskeys for their custom blends. American Prairie is one such blend, bottled at 46%, from a recipe of straight bourbon whiskeys from different distilleries. The individual component bourbons for this blend are aged between 2 and 13 years old before bottling, with the vivacious young whiskeys balanced by the complexity of the older spirits. Tasting Notes of High West American Prairie Bourbon Nose: Light caramel and sweet vanilla.
