It is a combination that appears on Danish lunch tables with extraordinary regularity and shows no sign of declining. The pate holds it shape well and is ideal served sliced rather than spread on bread. To heat the pate, pop it in a 200°c oven for 10-15 minutes. Usage tip: Slice the pate and serve on a piece of rye bread with some fried mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and a few slices of pickles.
