AirForce Texan SS AirGun

I was looking at the Texan SS in 308 or the Vulcan in 30 because I have the Vulcan in .25 all ready I was pretty set on the Vulcan. So I called Tony and asked him for his opinion and then decided on the SS Texan in .308. He had two in stock but before buying i asked what he recommended as an add on. He said drop down adapter for the bottle and the carbonfiber tank up grade. I went with just the drop down tank adapter and the fill port cap. Tony was great he shipped it out in a very reasonable time even though he installsd the adapter on the tank and checked for leaks. He sent it on a Monday and I got it Wednesday that was a great surprise. When I opened the box I was surprised again by how awesome it looks. It’s awesome not too heavy but it is a sold gun not dainty at all. Once I put the tank on and mounted my scope I shoulder the beast and with the drop adapter it is perfect for mid rise scope rings. I am using the hawke 4-12×50 HD and it fits perfect. With permission I went to a construction site out of town and sighted it in and had it dialed in 3 shots at about 30yrds then stretched it out to around a 100yrds. Man am I so happy this is a great shooting gun. I shot 50grn jsb, air Venturi 118 and 134 with out any issues at all full power. I get 4 shots with the jsbs within an 1 1/2 group then the pressure drops and the groups open up to about 3in. Seems like the jsbs love the twist rate of the barrel asking as you are at full power. The air Venturi slug group around the same 1 1/2 as the jsbs and what’s crazy is there is only a mil drop between the jsbs and the slugs again power adjuster at full. There is 8-10 very usable shots in a fill to 2800psi down to 2000psi. I love this gun it has so much power I can’t translate it into words. If you want a hunting rifle that is legal in Texas to hunt deer sized game this is it and it is quiet. Just want to say Thanks Tony for swaying me toward the Texan it is exactly what I was looking for.
