Farmers Wife Summer Spritz Gin 2021 is crafted on a farm near the village of Allworth NSW, located near historic Stroud and the gateway to the Barrington Tops National Park. This small batch of hand crafted gin is an homage to the tradition of gin making and the native flavours of Australia. This limited edition, spritz inspired gin, is layered with quintessential summer flavours, perfectly suited to the laid-back nonchalance that comes with the warmer weather. Beginning with our hallmark gin distilled in a traditional copper pot still, Farmer’s Wife have gradually and meticulously blended a new distinctive ingredient to bring about our summer release. The gins 13 original botanicals, including myrtles, sage and rare sugar bag honey are enlivened by the addition of fresh pressed Sauvignon Blanc grapes sourced from our friends at Tamburlaine Organic Winery. Clean citrus characters of lemon and lime are emphasised by the grapes’ acidity, followed by grassy herbal notes of native sage and a sweet floral finish of honey and passionfruit. Enveloped with floral notes & zesty citrus, this gin is perfectly suited to a cool summer spritz paired with good sparkling wine, fresh summer fruit and a warm summers day.
